Mark4NTFS is a windows program to patch some internals of an NTFS volume to reactivate CHKDSK to work with NT4.0 if a newer version has touched and converted the volume.
Vamos is a nice small MBR bootmanager with documentation, but very outdated. It was to time consuming to make it compatible with all these different BIOS anomalies. And now with EFI, there is a need for other kind of boot tools.
